Who didn't love 'Where's Wally' as a kid?
(If you didn't take at least some enjoyment out of searching for the stripy character, you must be crazy!)
Now I have an excuse to continue one of my favourite past-times through one of my favourite New York purchases from my trip in January.
'Where's Karl' is a book created by Stacey Caldwell, Ajiri A. Aki and Michelle Baron.
The concept is exactly the same, but instead of finding Wally you're searching for the iconic fashion legend that is Karl Lagerfeld.
He's always on the go making him a perfect focus for a concept like this.
What I love the most about this interactive book is the illustrations, all beautifully detailed making other familiar faces very recognisable.
(Whilst searching I've come across other incredible fashion figures such as Grace Coddington, Carine Roitfeld, Anna Wintour, Bill Cunningham and of course Karl's perfect pet cat Choupette.)
The Chanel logo seems to have sprouted legs in this book - perfect symbolism for Karl travelling around the world! |
I couldn't recommend this book enough to anyone who has a love for fashion but also likes to release their inner child every once in a while - It's definitely going to become a keepsake of mine.
Love, Lana Skye x
