If you own a computer or any sort of device which gives you access to the Internet then i'll bet my hat you'll be aware of the term 'blogging'. If you don't have your own blog, then I can also guarantee that you spend at least a little bit of time a week happily reading and commenting on other peoples.
Over the last few years especially, I feel that blogging has become much more mainstream, probably due to the fact that setting one up takes no time at all. This makes it difficult to find one that you genuinely enjoy browsing over or one thats different to the rest.
But I found some! I regularly read up on a number of different blogs (probably too many) so I thought I'd shortlist a few and tell you guys why I class them as my favourite!
CHARLOTTE FISHER - THINGSIDOTHINKANDBUY.COM
Charlotte started her blog in early 2014, I didn't come across it until around March that year but have been hooked ever since. I think the main reason why I enjoy reading her blog is because she isn't afraid to explore different looks that a lot of 'safe' shoppers would be too afraid to even try on let alone buy. She also photographs and reviews affordable high street products as well as luxury ones. This makes her both relatable and aspirational, while also attracting a much wider audience.
NIOMI SMART - NIOMISMART.COM
I actually stumbled upon Niomi's blog by accident, but oh boy am I glad I did! Although she does upload outfit posts which of course I enjoy, I look at her blog more for the travel and food updates which are incredible! I love the minimalist feel she's created, using more images than words but always having enough written so it doesn't feel like you're just stalking her Instagram! (The success she's experienced is made obvious through the UGG advertisements on her domain!)
MICHELLE PHAN - MICHELLEPHAN.COM
If you haven't read Michelle Phan's blog as of yet then I highly suggest you do so, she is quite frankly the guru of making anything look aesthetically pleasing (her Instagram is beautiful: @MichellePhan). Again, I go to her blog for something a little different, the post included in the image above being a perfect example. As well as quirky little articles such as that one, she also has whole areas of her blog dedicated to knowledge, art and wellbeing which I feel are area's that don't get enough recognition in the blogging world!
I'll include the links to these three fantastic blogs down below, if anybody has any suggestions of blogs they enjoy reading then please don't hesitate to comment and i'll have a good look!
Love, Lana Skye x
